On Trump and the F-Word, 2024 Edition

The Democrats are becoming less reluctant to call Trump a fascist, and with good reason. The man on golf cart’s use of Hitleresque language about illegal immigrants and the left, his demand for unquestioning loyalty, his complete disregard for the rule of law, and his enthusiasm for violence are all characteristics of fascists.

Some of my readers may recall that I defined fascism a few years ago as “the pursuit of reactionary goals by extraconstitutional means.” By that standard, Trump crossed the line after the 2020 election. He certainly hasn’t improved since then.
